Arrival in Mongolia
Welcome to Mongolia! Upon arrival, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Ulaanbaatar. Begin your adventure with a visit to Sukhbaatar Square, the heart of the city, and the National Museum of Mongolia, where you’ll explore the country’s rich history and culture.
In the evening, enjoy a captivating traditional Mongolian concert showcasing folk music, throat singing, and contortion. Overnight at a hotel*** in Ulaanbaatar

Terelj National Park and Khustai National Park (B/L/D)
Drive to Terelj National Park, renowned for its alpine scenery and unique rock formations like the Turtle Rock. Overnight in a ger camp. Visit the towering Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue, the largest of its kind in the world. Enjoy a short hike to a hilltop temple for panoramic views of the park. Head to Khustai National Park, home to the reintroduced Przewalski’s horse (Takhi), a symbol of Mongolian wildlife conservation. Explore the park and spot herds of these majestic wild horses roaming freely. Overnight in a ger camp. Distance: ~270 km (~6-7 hours driving).

Elsen Tasarkhai (Semi-Gobi): Walk on semi-desert sand dunes that stretch between rugged mountains, offering a stunning contrast of landscapes.Camel Riding (Optional): Experience riding the iconic Bactrian camels. ($15 per person per hour). Khugnu Khan Mountain: Explore this sacred granite mountain and visit a small hidden temple nestled among the cliffs. Overnight in ger camp. Kharkhorin and Tsetserleg town (B/L/D)
Travel to Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of the Mongolian Empire. Visit the Kharkhorin Museum and the historic Erdene Zuu Monastery, Mongolia’s oldest surviving Buddhist monastery. Then, we will drive to Tsetserleg town which is the central town of the Arkhangai province. We will explore the town. Stay in a local hotel. Distance: ~220 km (~5hours driving).

Great White Lake and Khorgo Volcano Mountain (B/L/D)
Travel beside the Chuluut River which has carved a deep canyon into the basalt rocks. This canyon is famous for its rich fishing grounds. Arrive Khorgo Volcano that is an extinct volcano, covered with basalt and lays to the east of Lake Terkhiin. It is an astonishingly beautiful lake formed by a dam of lava flowing from a volcanic eruption many millennia ago. Overnight in ger ger camp. Distance: ~150 km (~3 hours driving).

Khuvsgul lake (B/L/D)
Today we will drive to Khuvsgul Lake, close to the Siberian border. Here you have the opportunity to truly understand the Mongolian way of life. Lake Khuvsgul is the second largest freshwater lake in the world, after Lake Baikal so be prepared to be impressed. Overnight in ger camp. Distance: ~230 km (~5hours driving).

We will drive to spectacular area of extinct volcanoes covered in coniferous woods. This extinct volcano has spectacular red rock formations and is surrounded by coniferous woods and wild flowers. There is an opportunity to trek on the volcano. Overnight in local hotel at Bulgan town Distance: ~400 km (~7hours driving).
